If you’re bringing your own bed to town with you, St. Joseph will provide you with several great places to put it. RV parks and campsites let you stay overnight on a budget so you can wake up and explore the city renewed and refreshed. It’s a great way to make sure you’re not rushed through your visit.

Did you know Abraham Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth spent some time in St. Joseph?
Lincoln got a shave and a haircut at the Planter’s House in 1859 and John Wilkes Booth performed a series of recitations from Shakespeare’s Plays as well as poems in 1864.

Riverview Retreat and RV Park has full hookups for recreational vehicles with 20 or 30 amp electrical. The Retreat is fully furnished and sleeps six. Fishing, swimming and hiking is available as well as a private boat ramp to Missouri River or public boat ramp to Lake Contrary.
Sharp RV Park is located 3 miles north of St. Joseph on US Highway 59. Sharp's has 4 pull through and 22 back in sites.
