Heritage Park Softball Complex is the ultimate in softball tournament venues. It features four fields measuring 300', with the fifth field measuring 250'. All fields feature championship level MUSCO lighting systems, scoreboards, and adequate seating. The complex boasts a concession pavilion, children's play area, adequate parking, and much more.

Hyde Park is focused as 93 acre active use park with a swimming pool, skate park, six lighted ballfields, three lighted tennis courts, basketball court, horseshoe courts, two concession stands, paved walking trail, playground area, and restrooms. The ballfields vary in size, accommodating many skill levels, and also feature appropriate seating. The pool facility features a pool house and was renovated in 2005. For less active use, there are four shelters, one set as an alternate use bandstand, and a gazebo surrounded by tables, grills, and shade trees. This area is the most popular for family and company gatherings from early spring through late fall. The varied terrain lends itself to some exciting sledding during the snowy winter.

Spratt Stadium Complex is located on the campus of Missouri Western State University. The complex is home to the Griffon Football and Softball teams. It houses a collegiate level football field, 8-lane rubberized all-weather track, two softball fields, and pavilion. Spratt Stadium boasts seating for 6,000 in the grandstand and seats for 1,000 behind the visitor's bench. Spratt Stadium also has available seating areas for larger crowds by utilizing hill-side seating. Utilizing it's state of the art elevated press box, Stadium Club lounge area, scoreboard, stadium sound system, and concessions and restroom facilities, the football stadium is perfect for hosting a variety of sporting events. The softball area of the complex claims two, competition level fields measuring 250 feet each. With seating for close to 200, scoreboards, and pavilion area, Spratt Stadium Complex is a fully-functional, dual use sporting facility.

The 25 acre Northside Recreational Complex serves as the site of the Krug Park Swimming Pool, complete with pool house and concessions. The complex also features a lighted ballfield with appropriate seating, two lighted outdoor basketball courts, two horseshoe courts, two lighted racquetball courts, three lighted tennis courts, and three football fields. The complex also boasts restrooms, concession area, and a new (rubber floor) family play area.
South Park Complex (Drake Park): 3 fields

Drake Fields are comprised of three lighted softball fields, adequate for league and high school play. Appropriate seating, concessions, and restrooms are all traits of this complex.

This 24 acre park is located in the approximate center of the parkway system. Bartlett Park is ideal for both active and leisurely uses. Included are picnic areas, a shelter and grill, playgrounds, ballfield, and a section of the Hike & Bike Trail runs through the park. Popular for both day and evening activities, Bartlett is one of the earliest bequests of land to the park system.

Built and dedicated in 1939, Phil Welch Stadium is one of the few old and unique baseball stadiums left in the nation. With 320 feet walls down the lines and 420 feet walls at straight away center, Phil Welch is one of the largest baseball parks in the area, larger than Kaufmann Stadium in Kansas City, MO- Home of the Royals. Phil Welch is the home to the St. Joseph Saints, a highly competitive team in the MINK Baseball League. It has also played host to the 1998 ASA Men's Fast-Pitch Softball National Championships and the 2000 ISA World Fast-Pitch Tournament.

This 23 acre complex serves residents and visitors in a variety of ways. The 12 lighted tennis courts and adjacent filed house make it an ideal setting for tournaments, as well as high school, college, and general play. The complex also includes 16 lighted horseshoe courts, two bantam football fields, a lighted ballfield, and a multipurpose building for the youth fields. The complex is complimentary to Central High School within the same large city block. Residents use the track surrounding the high school football field for fitness endeavors. The tennis and horseshoe courts, football fields, and ballfield all feature appropriate seating, concessions, and available locker room facilities. The complex will feature a new aquatic park in 2005.
