The St. Joseph Park System, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is comprised of approximately 1500 acres, 26 miles of parkways and boulevards, containing 48 parks and related facilities.
Our earlier park planners not only left us with our unique parkway system, but gave us the theme "American Naturalist." This unique them, combining European Renaissance architecture and American nature is an inspiration to all.
