The Baker Family Fitness Center is located on the campus of Missouri Western State University.  This membership-based facility is available for use to current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and Gold Coat members.  The facility features a full line of Nautilus equipment, free weight room, cardiovascular exercise room, and aerobics room.  The facility is climate controlled and also boasts televisions viewable in all workout rooms.  Locker rooms and shower facilities are also available to patrons.

Alice's Energy Connection offers aerobic, group, and weight loss fitness classes.  Personal trainers are on-site to help with a full line of nautilus, free weight, and circuit equipment.  AEC offers a "women's only" area, outdoor pool, racquetball and basketball facilities, and a free babysitting service.

The St. Joseph Family YMCA offers a complete line of recreational facilities.  The YMCA's gymnasium offers an area for basketball, volleyball, and soccer.  The pool provides for swim lessons and open swim times with lifeguards on duty.  Four racquetball/ handball courts and a fitness center with cardiovascular, nautilus, and free weight equipment provide an area where exercise reign supreme.
